Job Description:

• Design New product, lead project team on all related design changes or new product introduce
• Communicate and cooperate with all projects
• Review drawing compare with the actual part before release drawing to the mold maker.
• Manage and control the re-tools program to finish on time.
• redesign if need to improve quality /reduce complexity /cost down the opportunity before release drawing
• Up to Date Blueprints and Product Specs
• Make sure the current part matches the drawing.
• Improve quality, complexity reduction
• Initiate ideas and support all cost-down activities.
• Support process engineer
• Identify component rationalization Publish or Define critical specs for all purchased components/raw material
• Publish or Define critical specs for finished product & performance
• Create product family matrix
• Lead and follow up quality issues in the factory together with value stream engineer
• Conduct supplier search and evaluations for tooling, components, etc.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure components/products adhere to criteria
• Set up existing tooling registration program.
• Other assigned by Manager

Requirement:

• Bachelors or Master Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with various support groups
• Knowledge of design programs such as AutoCAD, Pro-engineer program
• Knowledge of plastic injection mold
