LED Public Information Display Installation Project for Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA)

MRTA Elevates Communication with Modern, Accessible LED Public Information Displays. MRTA transforms communication from traditional notice boards to “Outdoor LED Public Information Displays” at stations and parking lots to update route information, news, and activities.

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has a policy to develop a public relations media system within station areas and parking lots to enhance the efficiency of information dissemination for the public, subway users, and those traveling through the surrounding areas of the stations.

Previously, various information was communicated through traditional media such as notice boards or printed materials, which had limitations in terms of modernity, speed of information updates, and ability to attract attention.

Therefore, MRTA has initiated a project to install Outdoor LED Public Information Displays to serve as a central medium for disseminating news, promoting activities, route information, and other beneficial information to the public.

Installation Project

Step Solutions executed the installation of outdoor LED public information displays through a systematic engineering process, beginning with a detailed site survey and analysis to assess infrastructure readiness and environmental factors affecting viewing performance. This was followed by technical design utilizing industrial-grade LED technology that supports high brightness and withstands variable weather conditions.

Finally, a complete system was delivered, integrating an intelligent content management system with high-quality control equipment, adhering to international safety standards, and undergoing rigorous system testing to ensure maximum stability and operational efficiency for users.

The project involved the installation of outdoor LED public information displays for MRTA, covering multiple subway lines, namely:

Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line (MRT Blue Line)

Chalong Ratchadham Line (MRT Purple Line)

Green Line, Bearing – Samut Prakan section

Green Line Skytrain, Mo Chit – Saphan Mai – Khu Khot Section

Total installations: 30 sets

Seamless System Integration: Coordinating with all relevant agencies was a critical strength that allowed us to perfectly integrate electrical systems, networks, and on-site structures. We provided technical problem-solving and delivered results that met the project's requirements flawlessly.

The success of this project demonstrates STEP SOLUTIONS' capability in upgrading public transport communication infrastructure to a modern standard with high-performance LED technology across all 30 locations. The seamless centralized content management not only increases the accuracy of information disseminated to the public,
